Training Weeks 3-6: Calf Issues

Pretty much have been unable to run for last 3-4 weeks due to calf issues, despite lots of stretching, rolling, trigger point work. I still hope to get healthy soon to get in a few weeks of running before my half marathon in October. In the meanwhile it doesn’t seem to impact most Crossfit WODs, so unless running is involved, able to keep doing those.

So for now just wanted to post a video from earlier this summer by Brian MacKenzie, founder of Crossfit Endurance on a great running drill to work on correcting hamstring mechanics running technique:
