Final’s WOD:

On the minute:

Complete 5 burpees and perform max rep 115/65 lbs thrusters on the minute.

The goal is to complete 100 total thrusters.

*At the beginning of every minute perform 5 burpees, for the rest of the minute perform as many thrusters as you can during that minute. At the beginning of the next minute perform 5 burpees and then max rep thrusters and so on until you reach 100 total thrusters.

Winner completes 100 thrusters in the least amount of time!

Once again it is time again for March Madness!

March Madness 2009

If you are interested in competing this year, please post to comments.  We will be looking to fill out 16 spots for the men and a possible 8 in a scaled men’s division.  For the women we would love to see 8 in both an rx’d and scaled divisions.  If we have the demand we will open it up to more athletes.

Please sign up ASAP as we will be looking to get Round 1 kicked off on Friday March 5th.  Rounds and dates will be determined based on total competitors.  Round 1 WOD will be announced on Tuesday, March 2nd.

The sign-up Deadline will be Sunday, February 28th.

As with last year, it will be up to the two competitor’s to schedule a time in which they can go head to head, class time’s will be fine.  Each competitor must have a judge for the event to ensure proper form and technique is used for every repetition.  If both competitors cannot meet at the same time, competition can occur at separate times, judges will still be necessary, and the better time or score will move on.
