Mind Body

Posted on by Jason

Albany CrossFit is growing and expanding.  We have already discussed the new room, we are in the midst of ordering new equipment, plan on a painting party the weekend of September 20th, and we are creating a new schedule with lots of new classes.

Another change we will be making is transitioning from paypal and checks for monthly payments to MindBody Online

Why?  Well, first and foremost, I got into this business for fitness and helping people, not because I enjoy the business side of things.  By changing to MindBody I can concentrate more on you all as athletes and concentrate on improving Albany CrossFit.  MindBody is the key to allowing us to grow but keep the focus on fitness.

Everyone's subscriptions on paypal are set from different dates, I'd like to slowly start putting all of our athletes into the MindBody system.  From there, we can set specific dates for your monthly dues to come out.  I know this transition won't happen overnight, I'd like to get everyone into our new System by the end of August.

Every ACF athlete will have a profile and you can go online to view it if you would like.  In the future we can use the program to view our schedule, register for classes and seminars and check out our new retail store.  As classes grow and we offer two rooms it will be an ideal way to stay organized and maintain a great, positive environment.  I am still learning all of the ins and outs of the program but it offers some great features and I'm sure everyone will become familiar with it in the coming months.

MindBody is safe and user-friendly, it is no different than swiping a card at the gas station or grocery store.  All of our current rates will stay the same for online payments.

Please feel free to express any concerns or questions you have.  We will begin incorporating MindBody Monday, August 18th.  Please, if you have a moment sit down with me and let me set up your profile and payment structure.

Thanks!

  1. Hi Jason! I stumbled on your blog and this article is fantastic! I hope your implementation went well, and that you’re enjoying your MINDBODY system. I’m the Marketing Coordiator at MINDBODY, and I was wondering if I could feature this article on our website, on the CrossFit page? (www.mindbodyonline.com/crossfit) Maybe along with your logo. Just let me know via email – danielle@mindbodyonline.com – when you get a chance. Thanks!

  2. Jason,

Would love to find out how your mind body integration went. Thinking about using it for our gym here in WA state.
