Community Based Fitness

Saturday was absolutely amazing, we had a super morning with the CrossFit Total, tons of fun, positive energy, and heavy lifts.  Then everyone came back and we had a fantastic Holiday Party.  Not sure what was more impressive…how strong everyone was at the total or how great of a community we have.

The party was fantastic, so much great food, and so much alcohol!  Seriously, there was so much alcohol, seemed like you had to bring a case of beer or a bottle of wine to get in.  The food was awesome, totally not zone friendly, well, except for Brett's apples and Peanut Butter, but neither one of those were touched!  Maybe the dogs had some peanut butter!

Dona's pie, Stacey's lasagna, Catherine's meat and cheese platter, Eugene's wing dip, Angie's chili, Kia's rice krispie treats, and anything else we have forgotten, the food was out of this world!  Thank you so much to Joy for the great decorations, you bring an amazing energy to Albany CrossFit!

Trivia was fun as always, does anyone know which team won?  Thanks John for coming up with some great questions.  By the next trivia we expect at least one athlete to be able to name all 10 components of fitness!  Come on!

Sunday's class went great.  Tabata you gotta be kidding me was just as bad as it looked on paper.  Wall Balls, pullups, SDHP, and Squat, are a killer combination.  Everyone definitely gave it their all.  After class Laura led everyone through a great stretching routine, do your best to incorporate some stretching after every WOD, it's worth it.
