I love Paleo!

Yeah, Nicole was shouting this around the gym after crushing yet another WOD. This girl has completely turned into a stark-raving animal! The great thing is this incredible improvement and ferociousness is not so hard to come by, it seems these days with the combination of Paleo Nutrition, Post-Workout Meals, and some well thought out programming, outstanding performance is becoming the norm!
Fred came in and hit the WOD in gear and as always was an inspiration to watch. Fred just celebrated his 40th birthday and amazingly seems to be in the best shape of his life. We have never seen him so lean and his form is constantly improving, his squats are deeper, he is hitting solid double unders, and his butterfly kip are all better then they have ever been.

Power Output: So why are we "scaling" our weights and changing the reps up? To increase our Power and Intensity! How does it work, we need to do more work in less time, let's take an example:
Last time Niki did "Elizabeth she used 85lbs. for her squat cleans and did bandless ring dips in a time of 15:55 for a Power Output of .06 Horsepower.
Tonight she "scaled" to 55lbs. (half of her 1RM) and did 8 – 6 – 4 bandless Ring Dips. This time she finished in 6:37 and generated a horsepower of .10, almost double the original Intensity!
