Amazing Amina

Posted on by Jason

If you were given the opportunity to have two pieces of “personal” property at work what would they be?  A picture of your family, your dog, a good luck charm, a poster of Albany CrossFit?  Well, that’s what Amina chooses to have up at her a desk, a daily reminder of Albany CrossFit.  A daily reminder of how far she has come and what a great journey it has been!

We are proud to have Amina as our January 2010 Member of the Month!

 BFFs Strong and Beautifu.

More about Amina from the Lebster:

If you looked up “positive attitude” in the dictionary, you would see a big bright picture of Amina’s smiling face taking up the whole page.  You cannot say enough about how she comes in every day excited to be at Albany CrossFit, ready to hit each and every workout with all she has.  Since day one, she has been fully committed, taking to heart any and all advice we can provide.  More importantly, I don’t think you can find a more pleasant and kind person to be around.  Watching her throw around crazy weights like it’s nothing (damn she is strong!) is all the better because she is always all smiles and happiness.  Amina has made so much progress and I know she is going to continue to make huge strides forward and reach her goals. Congrats Amina on being January’s Member of the Month!

did you miss this? on your faces!

Speaking of challenges, what did everyone think of the running challenge?  Who finished it?  Who hit every run?  Who saw an improvement in their 1-mile time as well as comfort with running?  Who will continue to incorporate short distance running into their CrossFit routine?
