October 2009

This is going to be a unique challenge.  Why?  Because it will require integrity and you focusing on your weakness.

What is it you ask?

The work your weakness challenge.

How does it work.

You have to talk with a coach and come to an agreement on what movement you are choosing.  It is up to you to come with an exercise you need to improve on, some examples: HSPU, ring dips, overhead squats, squat cleans, pullups, and more.  Some bad examples, running, situps, burpees.

From there you will be judged on 3 criteria.

1.  The amount of reps you perform of chosen movement.  Scaled reps count.  So, if you are working ring dips and need a band, those reps count.

2.  Effort.  How much effort do we as coaches truly think you put into improving.

3. Improvement.  How far along did you come in one month?  Did you go from Blue Band pullups to strict?  Did you nail your first HSPU?  Are you now hitting squat cleans like it’s your job?

The goal of this is to improve at something.  What is the chink in your armor?  Make it your b*tch!
